All teacher candidates in the Bachelor of Education program must apply to graduate.
Attendance at the graduation ceremony is optional, but each teacher candidate must apply to graduate to have his or her degree conferred and to be eligible for recommendation for a teaching certificate.

If you are planning to teach outside of BC, check requirements in the jurisdiction involved as deadlines and requirements may be different.
