Welcome TEO Program Manager for Indigenous, Rural and Remote, and International Cohort BEd Program Pathways – Graham Setters

Smiling man with close-cropped short brown hair, wearing a black sweater with snow on ground in backgroundThe Teacher Education Office is pleased to announce that as of December 1, 2022, Graham Setters will join us as a Program Manager, Indigenous, Rural and Remote, and International Cohort BEd Program Pathways. Graham is a UBC alum and a BEd graduate from the Faculty of Education. He has international and provincial experience in teaching and in leadership. His lived experience has been an asset in helping local and global schools in their implementation of the First People’s Principles of Learning in BC’s revised secondary curriculum. Graham has a Master’s Degree in Education from UBC’s Okanagan campus.

Graham’s role is responsible for supporting the Indigenous Education Program (NITEP), developing and implementing for the program strands for international education and rural and remote education and meeting the needs of teacher candidates in these programs.
