- I created this video for CPF BC & Yukon to support FSL students and families who are learning French from home. Due to the pandemic, many educational organizations and companies are providing their resources free of charge. In the video, I outline my six finds and demonstrate how to access these online resources.
- Did you face any particular challenges in the planning, making or delivery of this project?
- Finding a good video editing program was a challenge at first—I’m so glad UBC has provided students with Camtasia for free!
- How was the project received? Did anything surprise you about the outcome?
- The video was shared in CPF BC & Yukon’s email news blast, as well as on their Twitter and Facebook feeds. It’s been cool to see the post retweeted across the nation by other educators. This is my first experience sharing educational content on Twitter!
- Can you tell us about a highlight of creating this remote lesson plan?
- Curating resources was a neat professional development exercise. I learned a lot that I plan to use in my own classroom!
