Welcome Michelle Lim, Education Embedded Counsellor

The Teacher Education Office welcomes Michelle Lim, Faculty of Education Embedded Counsellor, effective May 25, 2023. Dayna McCracken is taking time to relax and replenish and will be back in the TEO next year.

Michelle Lim has a Master of Social Work degree, and is a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers.  With cultural humility, she strives to foster a welcoming, caring, and trauma-informed space where people can express themselves and feel heard.  Her counselling approach emphasizes the mind-body connection and integrates various therapeutic approaches, including solution focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and dialectical behavioural therapy.

To book an appointment, please call Counselling Services at 604 822 3811, indicate that you are a Faculty of Education student and that you would like to schedule a session with Michelle Lim.
