The Faculty of Education announces a transition in the Embedded Counsellor role this December. Michelle Lim will be leaving her position, and we are pleased to welcome back Dayna McCracken, who will resume her role as Education Embedded Counsellor.

During the transition, counselling appointments with the Education Embedded Counsellor will be unavailable from December 2-15, 2024. Dayna will begin offering counselling appointments for Education students starting December 16, 2024.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Michelle for her contributions to the Faculty and the tremendous support she has provided to BEd students.

She has worked as a Clinical Counsellor in a variety of settings including nonprofit agencies, provincial mental health treatment centres, public mental health clinics, and private practice. Her clinical counselling experience spans across a wide range of practice areas, including issues related to anxiety, stress, depression, relationship/attachment issues, trauma, and work/school/life balance.
