Apply Online to the Bachelor of Education Program
Including WKTEP, NITEP and Teacher Updating Program
1. Review the Application Walkthrough.
2. Sign up or log in to YOUBC. Log in or create an account at you.ubc.ca.
3. Apply to the BEd teacher education program. Once you are logged onto the you.ubc.ca website, select Apply to UBC (upper right corner) and submit your the BEd (Teacher Education) application.
If you are interested in the Middle Years cohort, select “Elementary” on the application form. Once admitted, you will be assessed according to the Elementary & Middle Years academic and experience requirements. If you are eligible, you may select the “Middle Years” cohort as part of accepting your admission offer.
4. Pay for your application. Submit your online payment of the non-refundable application fee.

Submit a completed application by December 1 for a guaranteed earlier assessment. Completed applications include official transcripts, academic requirement supplemental forms, reference report forms, language proficiency results (if needed), and no more than two conditional courses. Proof of registration in the outstanding courses is required by December 15 for an application to be considered for early assessment. Please note that early assessment does not guarantee early admission.
UBC Faculty of Education will be accepting late applications to the BEd Teacher Education Program until March 31, 2017. We will consider applicants who submit applications, including all supporting documentation, by the end of March after we consider all applicants who have applied by the priority deadline of January 31, 2017.
