How to Apply

1. Create an account and complete the online application form at EducationPlannerBC .
2. The Personal Profile is part of the application form on EducationPlannerBC and must be fully completed in order to submit your application.

The deadline to submit your application is January 31, 2025.

1. Official transcripts and proofs of registration
2. Two Reference Report Forms
3. Language Proficiency Tests (if required) – must be completed by June 30, 2025.

Once you have submitted your application and paid the application fee, you will have access to the online Academic Requirements Supplemental Form (“BEEM” for Elementary & Secondary; “BEDS” for Secondary) on the Applicant Service Centre .

After you submit your application and pay your application fee, you will receive an acknowledgement email from our office, usually within two to three weeks, with instructions on how to check the status of your application, including documents received, online on the Applicant Service Centre . With the volume of applications and documents our office receives, this is the best way to confirm documents are received within a timely manner.

Most applicants will be informed of their admission decision in May by email. If admitted, an admission package and further instructions will be sent. Please ensure UBC is on your safe senders list, and regularly check your spam filters for UBC emails.

All academic work, including prerequisite courses, and courses used to fulfill requirements for other programs of study, must be fully completed by June 30, 2025.

Final official transcripts and language exam scores must be received by the Teacher Education Office by July 31, 2025.
