WKTEP Opening a New Facility in Nelson

WKTEP’s new facility located at 266 Baker Street in Nelson, BC.
Grand opening September 24!

UBC’s West Kootenay Rural Teacher Education Program is proud to enter its 27th year preparing educators for rural and small school settings.

WKTEP is well known for its place-conscious learning and strong ties to local communities and school districts in the region.

The program is moving from Castlegar to a wonderful new learning centre housed in a heritage building in Nelson. The 2015/16 program opens at the end of August, and the centre will hold an official opening and Alumni event in September.
