Accept your offer on the ASC and pay your acceptance deposit.

Essential steps to accepting your offer:

Log into your Applicant Service Centre (ASC) at myapplication.ubc.ca.

Under the Education heading, select “Bachelor of Education (Vancouver)” — this includes offers of admission to WKTEP and RRED.

When accepting your offer, if prompted, you must select the “To Payment” button to pay the non-refundable acceptance deposit ($500) via credit card. Payment must be made, and you must receive a confirmation of payment, before your response is received by the Teacher Education Office.

If you have a disability that may require accommodation or academic concession, please register with the Centre for Accessibility.

The Teacher Education Office strives to provide inclusive, equitable, and accessible service to our students. If you have a disability that may require accommodation or academic concession during your time as a UBC student, please register with the Centre for Accessibility—and if possible, please do so by July 15 to ensure your accommodations are in place by September.

By registering with the Centre for Accessibility, you can request a new academic concession or disability accommodation, and discuss options with your accessibility advisor.

First, to register with the Centre for Accessibility, you must meet with an accessibility advisor. Please complete the steps on the Centre for Accessibility’s registration page .

If you have previously communicated with the Centre for Accessibility during your time in another UBC program, you should still reconnect with them so that any future accommodations can be aligned in the most effective way to your Bachelor of Education program.

If you have any condition(s) on your offer, the condition(s) must be met by June 30, 2026.

Official transcripts or documentation showing completion must arrive no later than July 31, 2026, if you wish to start the BEd program in September.

UBC transcripts do not need to be sent to us.

Hard copy official transcripts can be mailed by the issuing institution to the TEO:

Look out for the Orientation Day schedules and find out where to go on the first day of classes.

The 2026/27 UBC Vancouver Bachelor of Education program includes a series of Orientation events. First, there will be an online Zoom panel presentation in late August, which all BEd students are required to attend. Then, UBCV Elementary & Middle Years and Secondary students attend their program’s main on-campus Orientation Day events (held on separate days for each). Attendance at all orientation events is mandatory.

Orientation Day schedules and guides will be emailed to all registered BEd students in mid-July.

Important: set up your @student.ubc.ca email account if you have not already done so. Some school districts require an official email account for communication purposes.
