The Faculty of Education has a long-standing commitment to excellence in teaching. Two annual awards recognize the commitment, engagement and dedication of our colleagues: the Sessional and Lecturer Faculty Teaching Prize and the Killam Teaching Prize.
Sessional and Lecturer Faculty Teaching Prize
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Angela Low (ECPS), recipient of the 2025/26 Sessional and Lecturer Faculty Teaching Prize. The prize includes both a plaque and $1000 and is awarded at the year-end Faculty meeting in May.
Killam Teaching Prize
The Killam Teaching Prize is awarded to full-time tenure track faculty members with a prize of $7000 and a plaque, to be presented during the May Faculty Council meeting and the May Convocation. Please join us in congratulating our colleagues. The prize is awarded each year in recognition of exceptional teaching and leadership in education.
