Refreshed & Replenished: Tips to beat burnout and manage stress and emotions | Thursday, April 13, 2023

This workshop is for all Faculty of Education students.

Presented by Dayna McCracken, M.A., RCC, Embedded Counsellor for the Faculty of Education

Stress is a fact of life. Especially as a student, when you may be juggling a multitude of highly stressful things like classes, school work, internships or practicums, work, family, children, and the list goes on! While stress may be normal, extreme and unrelenting pressures can lead to the debilitating state called burnout. We are all susceptible to burnout and it can get the better of anyone, even when we have great passion for our work.

The purpose of this 50-minute workshop is to provide you with some information and tools that can help to prevent burnout, or to minimize the impacts of burnout, within your life.
