Happy World Teachers’ Day!
In 1994, the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) proclaimed October 5 as World Teachers’ Day. In the UBC Teacher Education Office, we recognize and celebrate the commitment, skill, hard work and innovation of teachers around the world and, in particular, of UBC alumni, current teacher candidates, school and faculty advisors.
