Show/Hide All FAQs 1. What is this? Between 36-72 teacher candidates may begin the elementary 12-month option in July and complete it in June (rather than September to August). 2. Are there special entrance requirements? The entrance requirements are the same, but preference is given to those who complete them all by the preceding December. 3. Are official transcripts required? Yes, we require transcripts for all of your post-secondary studies. If you have completed your program or courses in an institution other than UBC, have them sent directly to us. For courses completed at UBC, we do not require you to send us official transcripts. 4. What if I am not admitted for July? You may indicate up to two program options in order of preference, and if you are not offered admission due to a lack of space, your application will be reviewed for the September 12-month program as a second choice. 5. If I’m not able to accept the Letter of Offer of Admission for the program year I’ve applied, will I be able to use it for the following year(s)? The offer of admission for July of a given year is for the program commencing in that year only. For application deadlines, see the dates to the right.
