Thank you for supporting the Faculty of Education’s 16th Annual Animal Rescue Used Book Sale!
Thanks to the generous donations and purchases made by Faculty and community members, we raised $950 this year at our used book sale which took place in the Scarfe foyer on January 28. Our grand total of proceeds raised over the 16 years we have held this sale is now $9,850!
The funds will be distributed to a number of Lower Mainland no-kill shelters for abused and abandoned animals. Past charities who benefited from the book sale include:

- Royal City Humane Society, Westminster
- TLC Pet Adoptions, Langley
- Vancouver Humane Society
- SAINTS Animal Sanctuary, Mission
- Happy Cat Haven
- Second Chance Animal Shelter
- Second Chances Dog Rescue
- Greyhaven Exotic Bird Sanctuary
