Moving Forward in Education: Sustainability, Creativity, Technology

If you have big ideas about sustainability, creativity, and technology in education, the UBC Education Students’ Association is now accepting individual or group proposals from teacher candidates interested in presenting at WestCAST 2017.
WestCAST (Western Canadian Association for Student Teaching) is an education conference held annually by the Faculties of Education in the western provinces of Canada. The 30th anniversary of WestCAST will be held on February 16 & 17, 2017, bringing together over 400 education faculty and teacher education students for two days of conversation and engagement on topics that are relevant in today’s world of teaching.
Selected candidates will receive support and training from the ESA to help prepare them for the conference. Financial support for meals, travel and accommodation for the conference will also be available courtesy of the ESA and the Dean’s Office.
