The Dadaab Diploma in Teacher Education

The UBC Faculty of Education and Moi University in Kenya are developing and implementing a teacher education diploma for secondary teachers in Dadaab. Home to 500,000 people, Dadaab is the world's largest refugee settlement.

EDUC 430: The Enhanced Practicum

Following successful completion of a 10 week in-school practicum, all teacher candidates in the BEd program will complete a 3 week community-based field experience in EDUC 430: the Enhanced Practicum.

BC Teachers' Federation (BCTF) conference for new teachers, new TTOCs, and student teachers will be held in Richmond, BC.

Workshop proposals will be accepted from September 6 to October 18, 2013. 

If you would like to be an exhibitor: 
Applications will be accepted from October 21 to October 31, 2013.
